Description
This high profile import and distribution company based in Waltham Abbey, Essex seeks an Accounts Manager to take control of its finance function on a day-to-day basis. Reporting to the Directors duties will include:
- Perform day-to-day / weekly accounting transactional record keeping across the business
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned financial transactions - Month end / Year end/ VAT / Billing
- Establish and maintain accurate and appropriate records to ensure data integrity
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounting for stock and returns
- Managing invoice distributions including tracking and payment chasing
- Accounts receivable collections
- Managing payables with vendors and third party service organization
- Complete account reconciliations and account analysis, general ledger maintenance
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries
- Work closely with internal teams
- Review systems, process and controls
- Liaise with external Accountants and payroll company
- Work with multi CRM systems that feed into Xero
- Ability to work independently and manage remote management support team
